Letter of request sent to Vivoria's clerics and paladin:
Rosuav, human psion, formerly scholar, desires to join the church of Vivoria.
Born of humble parents, he grew in knowledge more than in physical attributes,
but is not totally unskilled in labour and battle. Since the very beginning of
his life in Threshold he has cared about others - not that this has been of
very great benefit to anyone though, for he has had no power to heal, and
limited power to help. Forever deep in thought, he nonetheless is aware of those
around him and their needs - to the extent that they are visible to him of
course. At the end of his training, he selected the Good ethos, and has since
then acquired an alignment of Paragon, which he hopes to keep.
I wish to devote myself to Vivoria, firstly because I believe in the
preservation of mortal life, and secondly because I wish to be able to help
those in need, instead of merely offering a powerless sympathy. I want never to
see a mortal in combat, close to death, and be utterly unable to give aid!
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I await your reply!

================================================================================
Dear Supplicant,
This letter is to inform you that you have been accepted by
the church to be a supplicant of Vivoria. You are about to
embark on a life long journey that begins today as a
supplicant. This is a long and arduous road that you
have chosen. But should you persevere and allow your love
for Vivoria to grow, your reward shall be great indeed. For
few other things in your life will match becoming a
worshipper of Vivoria.
Your responsibilities will be many, but each and every one
open flap them is designed to broaden and test your understanding
open flap what being a Vivorian is truly about.
Your supplication will be broken down into manageable
steps. Racing through them will not teach you anything, but
the longer you take to accomplish each step the longer you
will have to wait to be put forth before Vivoria for Her
acceptance. Find a good pace and do what must be done. Do
it with reverence and understanding that this is all for
your own benefit.
Your first duties are this-
Meet and get to know as many Vivorians as you can. They
will be your tie to the church and it will be helpful for
you to know as many friendly faces as you can through your
supplication.
Also at this time it is your duty to put your mind to work
and really study the scriptures and Vivorian documents.
You will be called upon to be able to talk about the
scriptures during questionings.
Lastly, you must appease the deities before you may be
allowed to devote. If you have not already completed this
quest, now is the time to start.
Please make yourself available as much as you can to talk
to the worshippers and clerics. This is also a great time
for us to get to know you better too. We do not expect you
to live in the temple narthex, but that is the best place
to talk and meet worshipers and clerics.
The clerics of Vivoria wish you complete success in your
journey. The clerics and worshipers do not want you to
fail and we will all do our best to support you as we can.
Praise Vivoria and many blessings upon you!
Lexia Tamaleki the Respected Bishop of Vivoria
