20080415: This is the explanation of the announcements board desync problem.
-{Citizen}- Aryadne: This is odd.  'boardcheck' was showing that there were
            2 unread Annoucements, but there was only one on the board.
            Now I'm still showing 1 unread, although there aren't any more
            on the board.  Anyone else have a phantom boardcheck?

-{Citizen}- Rosuav: Occasionally the boards get desynced.
-{Citizen}- Aristotle: Aryadne, that's an issue with the fact that there
            are 2 boards that share one set of data. After a post is made
            on that board, the poster then has to remember to type 'posted'
            to propagate it fully. But every now and then, one of us
            forgets to type that command after posting.
